Lots of News

Wow, what a marathon week! Stewart and I officially moved out our apartment into his Grandparents home here in Pocatello. We spent three days solid packing, moving, and cleaning the apartment. It was a lot of work but we got it done. I never knew how much stuff we had… and now I do. We have been very blessed to have Stewart's Grandma and Grandpa Hudson take pity on us and allow us to move in to their home and live with them until July when we officially move to West Virginia. Because of their generosity we will save a lot of much needed money to help us get going in WV. We owe a BIG thank you to not only the Hudson’s but to our Home Teacher, Jared Pugmire and our great friend Ben Murray who came on Friday morning to help us move our big items. THANK YOU! You both made our task easier, you both rock! We turned our keys into the landlords last night, it kind of weird to think that we are ending this chapter of our lives and starting a new one soon. For those of you who want our new address send me an email and I will give it to you.

Other big news before I end this post is that after weeks of searching and getting frustrated and discouraged we finally found an apartment in West Virginia! Can I get a WAHOO!!! It is such a BIG relief to have that detail taken care of. Most of the credit if not all of the credit for finding us a home goes to Stewart, he did a lot of work calling and searching for us all from Idaho. We know this is where we need to be, we had some neat experiences that helped reassure us that this was right. At least I hope it is right, we actually have not seen any pictures of what our apartment looks like inside… all we have is a picture of what our apartment looks like from the outside(which we did not see until after we committed to renting the place). So here is to the big sigh of relief and to hoping that the place looks just as good inside as it does outside.

This is a 4 plex, we are renting the apartment on the far right behind the pink tree

SLC FUN

So about three weeks ago Stewart and I decided to go to Salt Lake City for a few days to enjoy some much needed time together away from Pocatello. We went to celebrate him graduating from ISU and our two year anniversary which is coming soon. We had a great time, and made a lot of memories. We are trying to do things together that we have always talked about doing but have been putting it off, and since we are moving here in a few months we are now crossing things off our list. So while in Salt Lake we went to: the Planetarium, Hogle Zoo, visited with my mission president and good friend Britt, ate at a very interesting restaurant named the “Tin Angel”, and took a tour of the LDS Conference Center. Here are a few pictures from our trip, enjoy!!

Now What?

First off Stewart R. North Graduated from ISU yesterday! WAHOO!!!! I am so proud of him. I got up early today to iron his gown and make sure all his stuff was together, I even asked him to pick out what I should wear for the day… I wanted this to be his special day. Normally I hate graduations… they are soooooooo long and boring, but today I was super excited. I found myself listening to the names and watching the graduates accept their diploma covers and walk off the stage. All in all it was a great day! We had a great family party afterwards, which leads me to say… Thank you to all who came to support Stewart and who helped by bringing/supplying the food, we enjoyed seeing you and had a great time. Here are some pictures of Stewart in his Graduation attire: Ok on to the “Now What” part of this post... I don’t know if any of you have been following my countdown to when Stewart Graduates widget? But it is now complete which now leads me to a dilemma. What do I count down to now? I don’t want to start a count down to Stewart’s next graduation… that is just a depressing thought, not that he will graduate as a Doctor, but that it is at this moment FOREVER AWAY! So if you have any ideas send them my way… as for now I think I will just bask in the fact that I am married to a college graduate, not that I can forget because he keeps reminding me ~SMILE~

FINALLY

Stewart is officially done with FINALS!! He finished yesterday… now all he has left to do is MARCH across the stage and get his diploma (or his diploma cover, they never hand you the real thing)! I am so proud of my husband; he has come a long way in his long five years of undergrad. To think that he has endured hundreds of hours of studying, missing several fun activities because he had to hit the books, millions of words spilt out onto pages and pages of research papers, and of course all those ugly tests! So to you, Stewart my love I say…. WAY TO GO!!! I can’t wait until Saturday when you walk across the stage and I get to cheer you on.

By The Way....

This is the graduation announcement that I sent out to Stewart's and my immediate family, for his party on Saturday. I used my Photo Shop program that I got for Christmas, I think it turned out well since I am still a Rookie at making such products, and yes I still have a long way to go before I can ever consider myself as a Master of Photo Shop.
