I was looking at this blog the other day and realized it needed a face lift and it also needed an update, do here I go with the update and hopefully you can see the face lift already. ~ENJOY~
This past weekend Stewart and I went to Boise for the “Hudson Family Reunion” this reunion was with Stewart’s family… his Grandparents, Uncle, and Aunts and all his cool Cousins. We had a great time with his family. On Thursday before we went to the reunion we stopped and had my RING FIXED!!! Remember I lost the diamond in my ring about two months ago… well now it is all fixed and I am just happy as a bear in a honey tree! It is nice to have it on my finger again. Anyway this blog is suppose to be about the Hudson Fam reunion…. After we fixed the ring we drove out to Eagle Rd. Area and met up with the rest of the family.
Thursday night we spent our time visiting with the family. Friday we floated the Boise River, boy was it an adventure. First off we could not find the cap for the big yellow raft so we made a plug out of a patch and an old cap to something. We put Grandma Hudson, Two little cousins (Eli and Sadie) and then Juan and Camille in that raft. Stewart and I in another small raft, Nancy and Mike and Josie in a raft, and Natalie and her b-friend (Ryan) on an air mattress, and then finally Spencer in his own boat. After we all kicked off we realized that Juan and Camille did not know how to paddle in a boat so we (mid-stream mind you), switched Nancy and Camille places and then we were good to go. Stewart and I were doing okay until we lost the paddle part of our oar, Stewart had to jump out of our boat to retrieve it, and then I had to jump out of our boat to make sure Stewart could catch up to me so I swam to shore and waited. I tell you the water was knee deep most of the way…. Except where I jumped out to swim to shore, that place was shoulder high or higher. It was a fun trip down the river, Stewart says his favorite part of the whole trip down the river was throwing his Aunt Nancy into the water.
Saturday, the Men went target shooting south east of Boise. They came back with some big story about the sheriff and his deputy telling them that the place that they were shooting was on private ground. They did not get a ticket because it was not posted, but from now on they will have to find a new place to shoot. The Men also said that News Channel 6 was there recording this whole ordeal, so of course we watched the news that night to see if you men were movie stars … nope they weren’t as of yet. While the Men were off shooting things (Stewarts textbooks) Michelle, Amanda, and I went shopping to good ol’ Target. We had a ton of fun, Michelle found a totally awesome Halloween costume and Amanda found some great work slacks and a great crib for half price. I did not see anything that I had to have so I saved my money and am keeping it secure for when I do find something fantastic!!!
Stewart and I left Boise on Sunday morning and made it back to Pocatello, in time for church. We also got to stop by my sister Katie’s house and check out her new paint job. It looks fantastic!!! Well I am sure you are board by now reading about the fun time Stewart and I had while at his family reunion, so I am going to end this entry now. It was fun to see everyone and to make some great family memories. Thanks Mike and Cindy and their family for letting us crash at their home. We had a great time, can’t wait for next year! Bye

I was taking pictures and Eli (who is 4) came up to me and told me he could do the Flamingo Pose, it made me laugh…. He loves to be in the spotlight, I think his parents should be proud!
